In some sunlight circumstances, it can be difficult to get a tachometer reading from your PhotoTach.  Our ACES Systems engineers developed the ACES Systems Phototach Sun Shield to protect the emitter from direct rays of the sun during data collection. Screws directly onto PhotoTach unit.
